To Explore and Download the Genome Sequence of Drosophila Melanogaster at NCBI
Abstract: Drosophila melanogaster is one of the most intensively studied organisms in biology, serving as a model system for many developmental and cellular processes shared by higher eukaryotes, including humans. A shotgun whole-genome sequencing strategy was used to sequence almost the entire nucleotide of the approximately 120-megamegabase euchromatic portion of the Drosophila genome. It is supported by extensive clone-based sequences and high quality bacterial artificial chromosome maps. Work is being done …

Modern Vaccines with DIVA Capability: An Overview
Abstract: DIVA vaccines are designed to achieve twin-goals of the immunological protection of the host and the immunological differentiation of the infected from the vaccinated animals (DIVA) with a companion immunodiagnostic test. The DIVA strategy is used in countries that follow the vaccination path for elimination of an infectious disease and ultimately to achieve the disease-free status for international trade. This strategy has also been advocated for and adopted in the …

Recall Abilities in Children with Learning Disability as a Function of Modality of Stimulus Presentation
Abstract: Recallrefers to the subsequent re-accessing of events or information from the past, which have been previously encoded and stored in the brain. Recall can be tested practically by exposing the participants to the stimulus and asking them to recall the stimulus either in the same of presentation or in any order. The process of recall is sensitive to many variables. The modality of stimulus presentation is a major variable affecting …

Management of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy by Ayurvedic Principles: A Case Study
Abstract: Duchenne muscular dystrophy is the most common and severe form of childhood muscular dystrophy, with an incidence of 1 case in 3500 male births. It is an X linked recessive disorder due to the absence or alteration of the dystrophin protein, encoded by the DMD gene on chromosome Xp21. Corticosteroids are the only medications that have shown to alter the course of DMD but are associated with their side effects …

A Numerical Model to Study Effect of Potential-Dependent Influx on Calcium Diffusion in Neuron Cells
Abstract: Electrical activity within the brain rapidly encodes information about the world but for these fleeting perceptions to have a lasting impact, long-term changes in the structure and function of neurons must follow. At the synapse, neurotransmitter reception initiates a number of biochemical signaling cascades in the postsynaptic cells, one of the most important of which is the elevation of intracellular calcium. Early events induced by the rise of calcium in …

Behavioral and Electrophysiological Correlates of Semantic Processing in Kannada
Abstract: Semantics is one of the fundamentals of language components, encoding of which helps in understanding the meaning of the spoken or written language. The processing pattern of semantics has been studied extensively in different languages using either the conventional psycholinguistic experiments or advanced neuroimaging techniques. Previous studies have documented the behavioral and electrophysiological correlates of semantic processing in different languages. However, the correlation between these measures has not been well …

Digital Twin Assisted Intelligent Prediction of Polymer Composite Degradation Under Environmental Exposure
Abstract: Polymer matrix composites (PMCs) deployed in aerospace, marine, automotive, and renewable-energy structures are continuously subjected to coupled environmental stressors — ultraviolet (UV) radiation, moisture ingress, thermal cycling, and mechanical loading — that progressively degrade their mechanical performance. Conventional accelerated ageing tests and empirical lifetime models are time-consuming, destructive, and poorly suited to in-service, asset-specific degradation forecasting. This paper proposes a Digital Twin (DT) assisted intelligent prediction framework that fuses a …

Machine Learning-Based Structure–Property Quantification of Advanced Polymer Composites
Abstract: Advanced polymer composites are widely used in high-performance engineering due to their superior mechanical and multifunctional properties. Accurate structure–property quantification is essential for efficient material design and reducing experimental costs. Existing Machine Learning (ML) approaches often exhibit limited predictive generalization due to inadequate feature discrimination and suboptimal hyperparameter tuning. To address these limitations, the proposed method enhances the ability to capture the complex nonlinear interactions among composite structural descriptors. The …

Deep Learning for Earth Observation Using Satellite Imagery: A Comprehensive Review
Abstract: Earth observation (EO) satellites provide continuous, large-scale information about the Earth's land, oceans, atmosphere, vegetation, infrastructure, and environmental conditions. The rapid growth of multispectral, hyperspectral, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), thermal, and high- resolution satellite missions has generated large volumes of heterogeneous spatial and temporal data. Conventional image-processing and machine-learning techniques often require manually designed features and may have difficulty representing the complex spatial, spectral, temporal, and multimodal characteristics of satellite …
