RF Energy Harvesting from Wi-Fi Router in 2.45 GHz ISM Band
Abstract: In this paper, an experimental RF energy harvesting system using rectifying antenna (rectenna) to harvest ambient energy from Wi-Fi at 2.45 GHz is presented. The proposed circuit is a combination of RMPA, followed by a third order stepped impedance low-pass filter, matching network and rectifier using Schottky diode for microwave (RF) to DC conversion. Plus Slotted Circular Patch Antenna for WiMax/WLAN Applications
Abstract: A wideband compact circular patch microstrip antenna is presented for various wireless systems such as WLAN and WiMax applications. The proposed antenna has been fabricated and the return loss bandwidth is measured. The simulated and measured antenna such as return loss, bandwidth and gain are presented. The Experimental result shows that the proposed antenna presents a bandwidth of 78.81% with the maximum gain of 6.2 dBi.

A Novel Technique for Improvement in Front-to-Back Ratio of MSA for WLAN/WiMAX using Corrugated Dielectric Substrate as a Reflector
Abstract: In this paper the design of a microstrip antenna (MSA) with corrugated dielectric reflector is proposed to improve the front-to-back ratio (FBR) and reduce the back lobes in radiation pattern of the antenna. The designed antenna operates at 5.8 GHz and simulated on CSTMWS’10 software. Simulation results show that proposed antenna has 21.8 dB higher FBR than that of conventional MSA.
