Characterization of Nano-Clay Reinforced Polymer Composites: Enhancing Performance for Extreme Applications
Abstract: This study investigates the mechanical, thermal, water absorption, and chemical resistance properties of nano-clay-reinforced polymer composites and polymer concrete. The incorporation of 1-5 wt% nano-clay resulted in a significant enhancement across all properties. Effect of Nanoclay Loading on Physical and Mechanical Properties of Epoxy Composites
Abstract: The effects of multilayer silicate loading on hardness, tensile, and impact properties were examined by developing epoxy–nanoclay composites with 0–5 wt% nanoclay. Recent Advancements and Layering Techniques in Nanoparticle-Reinforced Hybrid Composites: A Comprehensive Analysis
Abstract: This review examines the advancements in nanoparticle-reinforced fiber composites, focusing on natural fibers, synthetic fibers, hybrid composites, and fiber metal laminates (FMLs). Nanoparticles such as SiO₂, TiO₂, Al₂O₃, and graphene, introduced at 0.5–3% volume, have significantly enhanced mechanical, thermal, and wear properties.
