Thermal and Morphological Characterization of Rice Starch–Charcoal Composites for Eco-Friendly Engineering Applications
Abstract: This work focuses on the development and evaluation of rice starch–charcoal–based composite materials to overcome the limitations of natural composites with low thermal properties. In order to examine the impact of filler concentration on thermal and structural performance, eight composite specimens were created by altering the ratios of rice starch and charcoal. TGA, DTA, AFM, SEM, and measurements of thermal conductivity and effusivity were used to thoroughly characterize the composites. …

A Machine Learning Approach to Forecasting Outcomes in Limited Overs Cricket
Abstract: This study explores the application of machine learning techniques to forecasting outcomes in limited overs cricket matches, with a particular focus on One Day Internationals (ODIs). The research investigates how classification algorithms can be effectively utilized to analyze both contextual and dynamic factors that influence match results, including venue details, toss decisions, team strength, and historical performance records. By employing a structured methodology encompassing feature selection, data preprocessing, model training, …

In Silico Investigation of 2,3-Dihydrobenzofuran from Centella asiatica: A Possible Pioneer in the Management of Tetanus
Abstract: Objective: Tetanus toxin (TeNT) is a neuroprotein toxin, the most toxic known. They have three functional domains and are structurally similar. They possess an N-terminal catalytic section (light chain), an internal domain for heavy-chain translocation (HN domain), and a C-terminal receptor binding domain for the heavy chain (Hc domain or RBD). Tetanus, an acute nerve-affecting disease, is provoked by a toxin-producing bacterium called Clostridium tetani. This bacterium is environmental, Gram-positive, …

The Effect of Vitamin A Dose For Different Periods On The Spleen of White Rats: A Histological Study
Abstract: There are many detrimental effects of hypervitaminosis (A) on immune system function, growth, and reproduction. The main objective of the study was to evaluate the histological changes in the spleen of white rats given an excessive amount of vitamin A. The study was conducted from October 21, 2022, to December 12, 2022, at the College of Education's Animal House. (40) adult male albino rats, weighting between 200 and 220 grams …
