Nanotechnology in Surgical Drains: Reducing Infections and Promoting Healing Post-Surgery
Abstract: Surgical drains are widely used in postoperative care to evacuate accumulated fluids, minimize dead space, and reduce complications such as hematoma and seroma formation. Despite their clinical importance, conventional drains are frequently associated with retrograde bacterial migration, biofilm formation, and increased risk of surgical site infections (SSIs), which contribute significantly to postoperative morbidity and prolonged hospital stay. Recent advancements in nanotechnology have enabled the development of nano-functionalized surgical drains with …

Development and Multiscale Characterisation of a Sustainable Hybrid Polymer–Cementitious Composite
Abstract: The development of sustainable polymer–cementitious composites has gained increasing attention as a strategy for reducing virgin resource consumption while improving the mechanical and functional performance of cement-based materials. This study investigates a hybrid composite incorporating sugarcane bagasse ash (SCBA), distilled sewage water (DSW), styrene–butadiene rubber (SBR), and polypropylene (PP) fibres. Four mixtures, namely C0–C3, were developed by progressively increasing SCBA from 0 to 15%, DSW from 0 to 20%, SBR …

Nanostructure-Induced Thermoelectric Enhancement in Bi2Te3 Nanorod Design, Analysis, and Performance Evaluation
Abstract: Thermoelectric materials capable of efficient energy conversion near room temperature are critical for waste heat recovery applications. In this work, solution-grown Bi2Te3 nanorods were synthesized via a trioctylphosphine-assisted thermal decomposition route, and the influence of surfactant-induced nanostructuring on their thermoelectric properties was systematically investigated. Structural analysis using X-ray diffraction and Rietveld refinement confirmed the formation of rhombohedral Bi2Te3 with the emergence of Bi2Te3–BiTe nanocomposites at higher surfactant concentrations. Electron microscopy …

Financial Inclusion- The Challenges Ahead and the Way Tt Create it Happen
Abstract: Financial inclusion is delivery of banking services at an inexpensive value to the immense sections of unfortunate and low-income teams. By monetary inclusion, we have a tendency to mean the supply of reasonable monetary services, viz., access to payments and payment facilities, savings, loans and insurance services by the formal economic system to people who tend to be excluded. It's necessary to acknowledge that within the policy framework for development …

Automatic Text Summarization – A Review
Abstract: ABSTRACT We present Encoder/Decoder a unique methodology for summarization of text documents. The summarization of text is to be done in two forms one is abstractive and the other one is extractive. Summarization of text is a main job of natural language processing. With the help of new idea we make a unique amalgam model of abstractive-extractive to combine BERT(Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers). Firstly we transform the summaries which …

An Optimized FIR Filter Architecture Using Approximate Radix-8 Booth Multiplier
Abstract: This paper presents an optimized FIR filter architecture using approximate radix-8 Booth multiplier. The radix-8 Booth multiplier is slow due to the complexity of generating the odd multiples of the multiplicand. Hence, for calculating the sum of 1x and 2x of a binary number x, an approximate 2-bit adder is deliberately designed. This adder requires a small area, a low power and a short critical path delay. Subsequently, the less …
