Electric Vehicle Charging Station: A Simulation-based Study
Abstract: Electric Vehicle (EV) is a current buzz in the automotive industry. As electric vehicles (EVs) become more widely used, there is an increasing need for reliable and easily accessible charging infrastructure. In order to meet the expanding demands of EV users while maintaining sustainability and scalability, this abstract describes the design and optimization of an infrastructure for electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS). The aim of this project is to design …

Vibration Characteristics of Copper-Aluminium Composite under Different Boundary Conditions: Experiment and Simulation
Abstract: The utilization of vibration analysis on the tapered beam significantly enhances the engineering investigation and design process. It is notable that the width of the tapered beam exhibits variation along its length, while the height remains constant. Experimental modal testing aims to determine modal factors such as natural frequency, damping, and mode shapes. A comparative study is presented in this paper, examining the vibrational characteristics of tapered beams composed of …

Innovative Approaches to Reactive Power Management and Optimization in Modern Power systems
Abstract: Reactive power management and optimization are necessary for the effective, stable, and reliable working of modern power systems. Without proper management, reactive power is responsible for additional losses in transmission, reduced capability of power transfer, and poor voltage stability conditions, thus forming a basis for developing advanced techniques of optimization. This paper discusses the innovative methods in Reactive Power Optimization (RPO) using met heuristic algorithms, namely the Self-Balanced Differential Evolution …

Model to Predict a Split Range Control of Hot and Cold Water System
Abstract: Mathematical model was developed to monitor, predict, and stimulate hot and cold water system using split range control application. Computer program language of MATLAB software of ODE function was applied to monitor the trend of temperature parameter in the system. Result obtained revealed decrease in temperature value of the hot water and increase in the temperature value of cold water until equilibrium was attained at 132°F at > 1.0 h. …
