Review on Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RASs) for Fish Growth
Abstract: The safe and healthy production of high-quality aquatic products is dependent on the use of a wide variety of water treatment equipment in recirculating aquaculture systems (RASs), which are models of intensive aquaculture facilities. With the use of bigger systems and improved production management procedures, significant cost reductions have been realised in the production of food fish. The work involved in handling fish must be minimised, and efficient tank rotational …

Dimensionality Reduction using Eigenfaces and Fisherfaces for Face Recognition Applications using Kernel LMS Algorithm
Abstract: AbstractFace recognition is an intricate numerical technology in computer systems that can support recognition of human faces using methods such as principal component analysis (PCA), linear discriminant analysis (LDA), etc. by comparing the given facial uniqueness with the already available face database. PCA and LDA are classical feature extraction and data representation techniques used in face recognition algorithm involving unsupervised statistical methods. The 2-D facial image can be transformed into …

Aerator Monitoring System for Fisheries Using Internet of Things
Abstract: To manage aquaculture effectively, we need to monitor water quality constantly. This helps prevent the depletion of dissolved oxygen, which can lead to fish suffocating. Such monitoring is especially critical in intensive pond systems. If we ignore this and fail to take action quickly, we risk losing all our fish, resulting in high costs that could have been avoided. This paper introduces a low-cost Internet of Things (IoT) based aerator …

ISSR Marker Analysis of Cypriniform Fishes in Southern Western Ghats
Abstract: The conservation biology and knowledge of the relatedness between populations is particularly important in absorbed breeding programs that attempt to reduce incestuous mating in order to minimize inbreeding. A decline in genetic variation reduces the ability of a population to adapt to environmental changes and decreases its long term survival. The molecular genetic variability among three cyprinids fish species (D. aequippinatus, G. mullya and D. filamentosa) using ISSR markers was …
