AI-Driven Multi-Objective Optimization of Conductive Polymer Composites for High-Performance Flexible Electronics
Abstract: The development of conductive polymer composites (CPCs) is critical for advancing flexible and wearable electronic technologies. However, the conventional trial-and-error approach to material formulation is time-consuming and often inefficient due to the high-dimensional nature of the design space. This study introduces a novel AI-driven framework that integrates machine learning (ML) with multi-objective optimization to accelerate the discovery of high-performance CPCs. A dataset of 1,000 experimentally reported formulations was compiled, capturing …

Impact of School-Based Oral Hygiene Education on Knowledge and Attitude among School Children Aged 10–15 Years in a Selected Rural Community of Bangalore
Abstract: This quasi-experimental study evaluated a structured teaching program (STP) designed to improve oral hygiene knowledge and attitudes in 10–15-year-old students from a rural Bangalore community. Before the program, most students demonstrated limited understanding of dental care and negative attitudes toward oral hygiene. After the STP, both knowledge and favorable attitudes increased markedly (paired t-test, p<0.001). For example, the mean knowledge scores increased substantially after the intervention, demonstrating a level of …

A study in Leveraging Deep Learning and IoT Arrays for Dynamic, Hyper-Local Atmospheric Intelligence
Abstract: The critical demand for high-resolution, actionable atmospheric data is challenged by the high cost and sparse coverage of traditional regulatory monitoring stations. This paper explores the synergistic paradigm shift enabled by integrating low-cost, dense Internet of Things (IoT) sensor arrays with advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) methodologies, specifically Deep Learning (DL) models. We address the primary limitations of low-cost sensors—inherent bias, sensitivity to environmental drift (temperature/humidity), and calibration inconsistency—by utilizing AI …

Thermal Effects in High-Power Laser Systems: Modeling and Mitigation
Abstract: High-power laser systems are increasingly employed in industrial manufacturing, defense, medical procedures, and scientific research due to their ability to deliver high energy density with excellent spatial coherence. However, the performance and reliability of these systems are significantly influenced by thermal effects arising from optical absorption, non-radiative recombination, and inefficient heat dissipation within laser gain media and optical components. These thermal phenomena lead to adverse effects such as thermal lensing, …

Analysis of Elevated Liquid Storage Tank on Sloping Ground with Variable Heights
Abstract: Past earthquake events have shown that even well-designed elevated water tanks can suffer severe damage or collapse. Much of this damage occurs due to a limited understanding of the behavior and appropriate selection of supporting systems during the design process. With a large mass concentrated at the top of slender supports, these tanks are especially vulnerable to horizontal seismic forces. Therefore, it is crucial to evaluate the strength and performance …
