Abstract: This study focuses on the extraction and characterization of fatty acids from the seed oil of Litsea consimilis and their subsequent conversion into methyl esters. The oil demonstrated high iodine and Reichert-Meissl values, indicating a significant content of unsaturated and short-chain fatty acids.
