Securing Web Applications: A Machine Learning Approach for SQL Injection Threats
Abstract: The rapid evolution and widespread adoption of the internet have significantly transformed the world, leading to an increased number of cyberattacks. Cybersecurity has become one of the most critical challenges for society, incurring substantial financial losses annually. This research focuses on SQL injection attacks, the specific threat to web applications, aiming to detect malicious queries designed to exploit vulnerabilities and access sensitive data. In recent years, the frequency of SQLi …

In Silico Identification of Therapeutic Agents for Dengue Virus by Molecular Docking
Abstract: The dengue virus causes serious health issues and a loss of quality of life. Dengue poses a yearly threat to half of the world’s population. The drugs that are based on allopathy are expensive and also exhibit toxic effects on tissues and biological activities. It is also generally accepted that most pharmacologically active drugs, including those derived from medicinal plants, are isolated from natural sources. The present study is directed …

Comparative Study of Time Slice Windows Analysis and Impacted As-Planned Analysis for Data Center Construction Projects Using Primavera P6 24.12 Version
Abstract: Data centers are IT infrastructure that needs to be precisely scheduled and coordinated. Significant financial losses and operational failures may result from building delays. Stakeholders can assign blame and comprehend the reasons behind delays with the aid of forensic delay analysis. Because of their unique approaches and legal acceptability, TSWA, and IAPA are commonly used among the many strategies. These methods provide various ways to analyze project schedules and pinpoint …

Design and Implementation of a 4-Bit Breadboard CPU Using Digital Integrated Circuits
Abstract: This paper presents the design and hardware realization of a simple 4-bit CPU built using discrete TTL integrated circuits on a breadboard. The CPU employs a 4-bit common data bus with tri-state buffers for device arbitration, three 4-bit registers (Register A, Register B, and an Output Register) implemented with 74LS175 quad D flip-flops, and a 4-bit ALU for addition/subtraction using a 74LS83 adder and XOR gates. Manual control signals (load, …

A Factorial Investigation of Hyperparameter Tuning Strategies for Lasso- Based Genomic Prediction
Abstract: In an earlier comparative study of machine-learning methods for genomic prediction of wheat grain yield, we reported a counter-intuitive result: automated nested-cross-validation tuning of the Lasso regularization penalty reduced mean predictive ability relative to a fixed, arbitrarily chosen penalty (mean Pearson r falling from 0.408 to 0.349 across four environments), the opposite of the expected effect of hyperparameter tuning. We hypothesized two possible explanations at the time — high-variance penalty …
