Preparing Chitosan Hybrid Nanocomposites by Novel Additives for Wound Healing
Abstract: Biomaterials made from chitosan have been discovered to be particularly unique marine polysaccharides (or polycarbohydrates) with a wide range of physico-chemical and biological characteristics suitable for biomedicine field. Due to net positive charge of chitosan, it is essentially capable of chemically binding with negatively charged surfaces A biodegradable blend of chitosan nanoparticles (CHT), poly vinyl alcohol (PVA) and polyethylene glycol (PEG) hybridized with metal oxides nanopowders were prepared and used …

Polymer Electrolyte Films Doped with Nanofillers ZnO: Electrochemical and Optical Investigations
Abstract: The electrochemical and optical characteristics of polymer composite electrolyte films doped with zinc oxide (ZnO) nanofillers are thoroughly examined in this work. Because of its superior film-forming capacity, flexibility, and ionic transport properties, poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) mixed with potassium iodide (KI) is used as the host polymer electrolyte. To investigate their effects on ionic conductivity, dielectric behavior, and optical transmission, ZnO nanoparticles are synthesized and added to the PVA–KI matrix …

Dielectric Properties of Reduced Graphene Oxide with Nickel Cobalt Ferrite and Nickel Zinc Ferrite Epoxy Nanocomposites
Abstract: In this work, two systems of the composite were prepared using NiCoFe and NiZnFe with reduced graphene oxide(rGO) epoxy and the samples were subjected to electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The Quality factor and loss tangent values of the composite was found out as a function of frequency. The modified ferrite-graphene-epoxy blends show dielectric loss and Quality factor values at low frequency. The incorporation of graphene aims to improve electrical conductivity, …

Hybrid Polymer Nanocomposites with Enhanced Dielectric and Optical Properties for Wireless Communication Systems
Abstract: The incorporation of nanofillers into polymer matrices offers a promising approach to enhancing the multifunctional properties of composite materials. This study examines the effect of nanofiller concentration on the dielectric performance, mechanical strength, thermal stability, optical absorbance, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding effectiveness of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)-based nanocomposites. Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) and zinc oxide (ZnO) nanofillers were incorporated at varying concentrations to assess their influence on material properties. EMI shielding …

Synthesis and characterization of mixed SnO2-ZnO Nano composites material to study the kinetics of catalytic reduction of Aromatic Nitro compounds
Abstract: A straightforward and cost-effective method was employed to synthesize zinc oxide (ZnO) nanostructures supported on tin oxide (SnO₂) for catalytic applications. This hybrid nanocomposite, formed by integrating ZnO with SnO₂, exhibited impressive catalytic activity in the reduction of various nitro compounds. The synergistic interaction between ZnO and SnO₂ significantly enhanced the surface area and active sites of the catalyst, thereby improving its overall efficiency. The resulting SnO₂-ZnO nanocomposite not only …
