Structural and Magnetic Property Studies of Nanocrystalline Co0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4
Abstract: The synthesis of Co0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 nanoparticles has been achieved by a simple thermal decomposition method from the inorganic precursor, Co0.8Zn0.2Fe2(cin)3(N2H4)4, which was obtained by a novel precipitation method from the corresponding metal salts, cinnamic acid and hydrazine hydrate. The precursor was characterised by hydrazine and metal analyses, infrared spectral analysis and thermo gravimetric analysis. Abstract: This study focuses on the development and characterization of nano-hydroxyapatite (nHAp)-reinforced poly (lactic acid) (PLA) composites for biomedical applications.
