Parkinson’s Disease Detection on Spiral Images Using CNN with Meta-Classifiers
Abstract: In this work, we provide a detailed method for identifying Parkinson’s Disease (PD) by integrating Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and meta-classifiers. Through the utilization of a varied dataset consisting of handwritten spiral images, our methodology demonstrates commendable accuracy across a range of models. Specifically, our CNN model with meta-classifiers surpasses alternative approaches, achieving an impressive accuracy rate of 95.07%. By utilizing pre-established VGG16 and ResNet50 architectures as bases, the region-based …

Fire Safety in Healthcare Facilities: An Indian Perspective
Abstract: Fire protection and safety measures in hospitals are of utmost importance to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors. Due to the patients' limited mobility, hospitals are more susceptible to fire disasters. Short-circuits, basements being used as storehouse, inappropriate storage of flammable liquids, improper power supply load, false ceiling panel lined with thermocol, faulty electric wirings, and overheating leading to burning of wires are some of the common causes …

A Survey on Intrusion Detection in Wireless Sensor Network
Abstract: The Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) consist of sensor and vehicle infrastructure deployed either on land or in the sea over a selected acoustic field. Such networks are launched in the execution of joint tasks that include monitoring the environmental conditions and collecting measured data. WSNs operate based on an interactive communication among different nodes and ground stations, which provides for real-time data transmission and analysis. This research work gives a …

Role of the Surgical-Ward Nurse in Identifying, Escalating, and Managing Postoperative Anastomotic Leak in Colorectal Patients: A Narrative Synthesis in an Australian Nursing Perspective
Abstract: Purpose: Postoperative colorectal anastomotic leak (AL) is one of the most feared complications after colorectal surgery because of its association with sepsis, reoperation, mortality, prolonged hospital stay, delayed adjuvant therapy, and permanent stoma formation. This narrative practice review outlines the frontline role of surgical-ward nurses in the early identification, escalation, and interim management of AL within the Australian acute-care context. Methods: A narrative synthesis of contemporary consensus statements, systematic reviews, …

Chemiluminescence: Recent Developments and Photochemical Applications in Analytical Chemistry
Abstract: Chemiluminescence (CL) is the observable production of electromagnetic radiation from a chemical reaction, typically in the form of ultraviolet, visible, or infrared light. According to subjective yield, CL has either been directly emitted from electronically excited intermediate products, or it has been supported by another molecule to emit CL. Since the 1950s, CL has been supported as a valid analytical tool, with the descriptive issued scope being limited to content …
