Bending and Single Edge Notch Bending Test (SENB) Investigation of Natural Fiber- Reinforced Epoxy Composites using Machine Learning
Abstract: The present study aims to determine the behavior of hemp fiber-reinforced epoxy composites in terms of bending behavior and fracture toughness under bending load resembles the substitutive behavior of existing synthetic composites. The fabrication was carried out by hand lay-up assembly of hemp fiber with Lapox-12 epoxy resin volume fraction of 60:40 fiber: matrix volume. Flexural testing revealed an average strength of 93.5 ± 2.8 MPa and SENB testing revealed …

Experimental and Polynomial Regression Modelling of Tensile Characteristics of Hybrid Jute/Hemp Fiber Composites
Abstract: The present study aims to develop hybrid jute-hemp fiber/epoxy composites by the hand lay-up process with 60% of fiber reinforcement and 40 % of matrix ratio. To measure the change of tensile properties, prepared hybrid composites were tested for normal tensile strength and edge notch tensile (ENT) test as per the ASTM standards. Findings show that, developed composites with reported tensile strength followed by comparing it with fracture toughness. Experimentally, …

Effect of Process Variables on the Mechanical Characteristics of form Fabricated Materials
Abstract: Additive manufacturing prominent rapidly advancing technologies for producing 3D-printed products. Initially developed by stratasys, FDM technology emerged during the 1980s. This additive manufacturing technique builds products by extruding semi-molten material through a nozzle onto a platform. PLA and ABS are among numerous thermoplastics that are commonly used as filaments in this procedure. Purpose of research was to observe the effect of variables such as infill percentage, bed temperature, printing speed …

A Study of Nacl Alkali Treated Muntingia calabura fibre Reinforced Composites
Abstract: Natural fibre reinforced composites are more commonly used in various applications due to their biodegradability, low cost, available in nature and less harmful to the environment than synthetic fibres. In the present study, NaCl alkali treated MuntingiaCalaburafibres(MCF) reinforced composites are developed using hand layup technique and evaluated the mechanical properties of the composites. The increase of the NaCl content (up to 20 percent) and the fibre weight is maintained constant …

Exploring The Performance Dynamics of Basalt Fibre Reinforced Polymers: Mechanical and Viscoelastic Insights
Abstract: Basalt fibre reinforced polymer (BFRP) composites are gaining significant attention as sustainable alternatives to traditional reinforcement materials due to their superior mechanical performance, thermal stability, and eco-friendliness. This study examines the tensile, flexural, impact, and viscoelastic properties of BFRP composites fabricated via vacuum-assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM) using varying fibre volume fractions (20%, 30%, and 40%) and fibre orientations (unidirectional and bidirectional). The results reveal that composites with 40% fibre …

An Overview of Natural Fibers and Fillers Reinforced Polymer Composite Materials
Abstract: Polymer composite materials reinforced with natural fibers and fillers are drawing wide spread attention due to their sustainability, eco-friendliness, and a replacement of conventional synthetic composites. Such materials combine strength and stiffness of natural fibers like jute, hemp, flax, and sisal with flexibility and durability of polymer matrices, including thermoplastics, and thermosets. The paper reviews some developments, properties, and applications of natural fiber-reinforced polymer composites (NFRPCs), focusing on their merits, …

Stone Waste as a Soil Stabilizer
Abstract: The rapid expansion of construction, mining, and stone-processing industries has led to the large-scale generation of stone waste materials such as marble powder, granite slurry, quarry fines, and sandstone residues. The indiscriminate disposal of these wastes poses serious environmental concerns, including land degradation, dust pollution, and contamination of surface and groundwater resources. At the same time, weak and problematic soils continue to present major challenges in geotechnical engineering applications, particularly …

Experimental and Process Optimization Study on Thermal Stress Reduction in TiC–Steel Brazed Joints Using Polymer-Derived Composite Interlayers
Abstract: In this, an experimental investigation aimed at reducing crack formation due to thermal stress in TiC-steel brazed joints through optimization of key process parameters is presented. The primary objective was to develop an integrated and reliable brazing strategy by examining the effects of filler material selection, brazing gap, cooling conditions and type of flux. In this study, polymer-derived composite interlayers were developed through controlled synthesis and nanocomposite engineering to mitigate …

Ayurvedic Management of Vatika Pakshavadha (Hemiplegia): A Case Study
Abstract: Background: Pakshavadha, described in Ayurveda under the category of Vāta Vyādhi, is a neurological disorder caused by aggravated Vāta doṣa affecting one half of the body. Clinically, it is correlated with hemiplegia or post-stroke neurological deficits, particularly following ischemic cerebrovascular accidents. Stroke remains a leading cause of mortality and disability worldwide, often leaving patients with residual weakness, gait disturbances, and impaired speech despite modern rehabilitation. Ayurveda offers a holistic approach …
