Rising Temperatures and Surface Mass Loss in Greenland: Implications for Regional Glacier Dynamics and Global Sea Level Rise
Abstract: In Greenland, the ice sheet serves as one of the strongest indicators of global climate change, with consistently rising temperatures driving it toward an even more negative mass balance. Over the last two decades, warmer conditions have exacerbated surface melting, darkened ice, and resulted in feedback stimulating further loss. This study assesses how those temperature trends—particularly during summer peak months—have impacted the stability of Greenland's ice, and then, more importantly, …

COMPARATIVE SEISMIC RESPONSE OF IRREGULAR HIGH-RISE RCC 25 STOREY BUILDINGS WITH AND WITHOUT SHEAR WALLS CONSIDERING P–DELTA EFFECT
Abstract: The seismic performance of high-rise reinforced concrete (RCC) buildings is significantly affected by plan irregularity, lateral stiffness distribution, and second-order (P–Delta) effects. Irregular structural configurations may generate torsional response and increased deformation demand under seismic excitation while geometric nonlinearity further amplifies displacement and internal forces in tall structures . This study presents a comparative seismic assessment of a G+24 storey RCC building having overall plan dimensions of 30,000 mm × …

Integrated Polarimetric-Interferometric Fusion for Heterogeneous Urban Signature Extraction
Abstract: Mapping heterogeneous urban environments using conventional Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) backscatter intensity frequently produces classification errors due to spectral similarity between sparse built-up features, bare soil, and dry vegetation a challenge especially acute in semi-arid Deccan Plateau settings. This research presents a dual-path Pol- InSAR fusion framework that integrates polarimetric scattering decomposition and interferometric coherence stability to extract heterogeneous urban signatures over Beed Taluka, Maharashtra (area: 1,561.31 km²). A Smart Framework that Combines Data Mining and Optimization for Different Applications
Abstract: Blending predictive data mining with metaheuristic optimization has become essential for tackling tough, real-world problems across all kinds of fields. Most existing methods stick to fixed algorithms, each focused on a tiny slice of the puzzle, barely budging when new variables or unpredictability show up—especially with messy, human-generated data. So, here’s the idea: a Unified Metaheuristic and Predictive Data Mining (UMPDM) framework that finally connects adaptive search methods with powerful …
