Structure–Property-Guided Polymer–Metal Hybrid Design of a Wall Plastering Spray Assembly
Abstract: Wall plastering spray equipment requires a combination of low mass, dimensional stability, abrasion resistance, chemical compatibility with cementitious mortar, and comfortable operator interaction. The original assembly was primarily developed as a metallic mechanical system; however, a polymer-focused material architecture can reduce non-load-bearing mass while retaining a safe metallic pressure path. This study, therefore, presents a structure–property-guided polymer–metal hybrid design in which the pressure housing and nozzle insert remain metallic, whereas …

Zeolite-Y Encapsulated Copper (II) and Cobalt (II) Species as Hybrid Nano-catalysts: Structural and Catalytic Aspects
Abstract: Special properties inherent to zeolites in facilitating the construction of novel upramolecular assemblies by encapsulation of guest molecules (metal complexes) into their large cages can be utilized to use these assembled materials as novel catalysts. These modified solids have the advantages of both behaving as the homogeneous and the heterogeneous catalytic system. In the present work, copper (II) and cobalt (II) complexes of 2-amino ethanoic acid (2-AEA) encapsulated in the …

Cubic B-splines for Isogeometric Analysis of Laminated Composite Plates Subjected to Hygroscopic Loading Using Classical Laminated Plate Theory
Abstract: Composite laminates are inevitably used in several engineering structures due to their high strength and stiffness to weight ratio. The laminates are subjected to change in moisture content and the flexural behavior leads to change in the strength. Presence of moisutre may induce residual stresses and strains. Isogeometric analysis is a well-proven method to perform analysis of laminated composite plates. The main focus of this study is to apply isogeometric …

Improvements in Analog Performance of Dual Metal Gate based Silicon-on-Insulator Junctionless Transistor with Pocket Doped Window
Abstract: This paper elucidates the impact of the pocket doped window on the analog performance of dual metal gate based silicon-on-insulator junctionless transistor (DMG SOIJLT). The analog parameters of the proposed SOIJLT are compared with DMG based conventional SOIJLT. The findings of analog performance comparison reveal that transconductance (gm), transconductance generation factor (TGF), output conductance (gd), output resistance (r0), intrinsic gain (AV), and cut-off frequency (fT) have improved for DMG PD-SOIJLT …

Heat Sink-PCM Device for PV Efficiency Improvement
Abstract: This paper is focused on the development of a second stage of a previous work where the PV panel efficiency is improved by using a hybrid system made up of a PCM attached to the rear side of the panel. This evolved stage incorporates a heat sink unit to improve the distribution of the heat removed from the panel; this improvement reduces the elapsed time to reach the steady state …

Coverage Driven Verification of Synchronous FIFO using UVM
Abstract: FIFO (first in first out) is a memory array in which the data written first into the memory will be read first with the help of the control signals read and write where the control signal write is used to write the data into the memory and the control signal read is used to read the data from the memory. To avoid the memory overflow and to know that whether …

Inhibitory Potentials of Datura Metel to Prevent Mild Corrosion
Abstract: The resistance of mild steel to corrosion was evaluated by immersing it in well water and determining the weight it lost after being allowed to return to room temperature after the submersion. The effectiveness of mild steel's ability to withstand corrosion was evaluated using this approach. A reduction in total body mass has an influence that is connected to and helps play a role in the prevention of rusting from …

Fatigue Analysis of the FSAE Vehicle's Front Wheel Hub
Abstract: This study illustrates the design and analysis of the FSAE vehicle's front wheel hub. Because wheel hubs are subjected to cyclic loads on a continuous basis, there is a risk of fatigue, which leads to material failure. The start and spread of cracks in a material as a result of cyclic loading is known as fatigue. The brake discs could not be easily removed since the disc is positioned between …

Failure Analyses of 16 mm Thick SA 516 GR 70 Auto Clave
Abstract: With the acceleration of global industrialization, there is a demand for high-or low-pressure storage of liquids or gases. Because of the complicated operating conditions that will inevitably encounter a possible hazard, pressure vessel design is a critical responsibility. Previous failure studies have revealed that the presence of local loads and discontinuities increases pressure vessel fracture. As a result, a detailed examination of pressure vessel steel from the standpoint of fracture …
