Episiotomy Practice and its Associated Factors among Mothers who Gave Birth Vaginally at Public Health Institutions of Shire Town, Northern Ethiopia
Abstract: Obstetric perineal trauma is assumed to be a serious health problem for women as well as for their child during their childbirth. Episiotomy is the commonest obstetric surgical operation performed to increase the diameter of the vulvas outlet during the late period of the second stage of labor in order to facilitate vaginal delivery. The rate of episiotomy is on the decline in developed countries but still remains high in …

Study of Sex from Human Sternum in Cases of Medico-legal Autopsies (Between the Age Group of 10 and 50 Years)
Abstract: Determination of sex is immensely important not only for identification but also for age and stature determination as sex has got direct bearings on both of these parameters. Whenever it is possible to tell sex of skeletal remains, identification has been narrowed down by half, as missing person of only one sex needs to be considered. In this sense the identification of sex takes precedence over age. The present work …

Design and Performance Analysis of a Log Periodic Dipole Antenna with a Frequency Range of 1350 to 2690 MHz
Abstract: The introduction of broadband systems to communication and non-communication technologies has demanded the design of broadband antennas. RF antennas have relatively small bandwidth and poor directivity while the log periodic dipole antenna (LPDA) provides better directivity and gain with wide bandwidth. For a communication link and data transmission at higher rates, wider bandwidth is required with high gain and directivity. This necessitates designing a wideband antenna. In this paper, a …

An Enhanced RSA Cryptography and Steganography using 1-2-4 LSB Algorithm
Abstract: AbstractSteganography is the approach of the hidden information this is used for the detection of hidden know-how prevents. As the requirement of protection and privateness increases, the need of the hiding private information is ongoing. For color images, we are using 1-2-4 LSB on RGB component, then encrypt data using RSA approach. We calculate peak signal noise ratio for quality and brightness. In this approach, first the information is in …

Effect of Aluminium Mole Fraction on the AlGaN/GaN HEMTs with 10 nm AlGaN Nano-Layer
Abstract: We report the effect of aluminium mole fraction on drain current in AlGaN/GaN high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs). The drain current increases with the drain voltage. Also, the effect of gate voltage on drain current as well as the effect of drain voltage on source current is studied. The drain current is invariant and nearly 0 mA corresponding to the aluminium mole fractions of 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, and 0.25 related …
