Experimental Investigation into Surface Roughness of Polished Zinc Plate with Ultrasonic Vibration Using Single Pole Magnetic Abrasive Finishing
Abstract: This research investigates how applying ultrasonic vibrations influences the surface finish quality of zinc plates when using the Single Pole Magnetic Abrasive Finishing (SP-MAF) method. In SP-MAF, magnetic abrasive particles (MAPs)—amalgamation of ferromagnetic and abrasive materials—are guided by a magnetic field to achieve precise surface finishing. Introducing ultrasonic vibration improves the effectiveness of the flexible magnetic abrasive brush (FMAB), which forms as the MAPs align along the magnetic field lines. …

Influence of Infill Density on Structural Performance of FDM-Processed PET-G Polymer: Experimental Validation through Quadcopter Flight Testing
Abstract: Polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified (PET-G) is an amorphous thermoplastic copolymer increasingly adopted in structural applications through fused deposition modeling (FDM). Thermo-hydraulic Performance of Annular-Finned Double-Pipe Heat Exchanger: Numerical and Experimental Investigation of Metallic and Polymer Composite Tube Wall Materials
Abstract: Double-pipe heat exchangers are central to the process industries — dependable, easily maintained, and straightforward to fabricate. Their conventional form relies on metallic tube materials, most often copper or stainless steel. Both metals conduct heat well, but they are dense, prone to corrosion in aggressive service environments, and increasingly at odds with the light-weighting goals that drive modern system design. Fibre-reinforced polymer composites, epoxy-based materials, and thermally enhanced thermoplastics such …
