A New Protocol for Analysis of Metal Absorption Capacity of Cyanobacteria
Abstract: Cyanobacteria are one of the microorganisms that have high potential for removing heavy metals from the soil and water. They can sequester heavy metal ions in a short period of time through adsorption and absorption mechanisms .In the present investigation, we have studied about metal absorption capacity of cyanobacteria using new method and new instrument Electrolyter-1005,developed by the authors. From the result, it was concluded that Calothrix sp. is more …

Isolation, Production and Purification of Antibiotics Isolation from Microbes from Soil
Abstract: A chemical compound acting against life is called antibiotics. The term “antibiotic” literally means “against life”. The term appeared as early as 1928 in the French microbiological literature as antibiosis. The phenomenon of antagonism between living organisms was frequently observed even since 1877, when Pasteur and Joubert noticed that aerobic bacteria antagonized the growth of Bacillus anthracis. However, the world in its present restrictive meaning, “a chemical substance derived from …

A Review on Bioremediation of Polluted Environments and Uses of Bacteria to Detoxify and Destroy Environmental Toxins
Abstract: Environmental biotechnology's fast evolving and developing field of bioremediation uses microbes to clean up polluted areas. Although bioremediation is a promising method for improving environmental conditions, our limited knowledge of how biological factors contribute to its effects and its effects on the ecosystem has made it difficult to develop the technology and make it safer and more dependable. These cutting-edge molecular microbiological approaches will offer fresh perspectives on bioremediation in …

Analyze the growth of Pleurotus florida under different incubated conditions
Abstract: The edible mushroom Pleurotus florida was cultured under microbiological condition which favored the growth of mycelium on selective potato dextrose agar medium. The same mycelium also grows well in wheat grain substrate during grain spawn production. But the mycelial growth efficiency of P. florida was higher in coconut coir, paddy straw and paddy straw + newspaper waste substrates when spawn running process. The pin head formation stage was only observed …
