Mechanical and Micro-structural Properties of Friction Stir Welded Dissimilar Joints of Aluminium Alloys
Abstract: Abstract In this work, the microstructure and mechanical properties of friction stir welded dissimilar joints of 6101-to-6063 aluminium alloys were evaluated. Tool with round pin profile was fabricated of high speed steel material which was suitable for friction stir welding of aluminium alloys.
