Two-chamber Medical Electroflotator for Cleaning of the Lymph of Cancer Patients from Toxic Substances and for the Destruction and Removal of Cancer Cells Contained in It
Abstract: Existing devices for cleaning of the lymph of patients with liver cirrhosis or hepatitis from a high concentration of toxic substances, contained in it, do not allow cleaning the body of patients from these toxic substances. In addition, these devices require the patient's lymph to be purified in a discrete mode, i.e., all the patient's lymph, without which the patient remains, is purified for a sufficiently long time, and after …

Lymph Purification for Liver Cirrhosis Patients’ Treatment
Abstract: The existing methods of lymph purification do not permit to clean the organism of patient with liver cirrhosis from an increased concentration of toxic substances contained in his lymph. In addition, the process of cleaning of the lymph in these methods takes a long time, during which the patient remains without lymph, waiting for clean lymph that sharply weakens him and in extraordinary cases can lead to death. The presence …

Guidelines for Management of Post Lymphedema Nonhealing Ulcer of Lower Limb
Abstract: Lymphedema represents a widespread medical concern, affecting a staggering 140.2 million individuals globally; however, its status as a vascular disease often remains underappreciated. In contrast to arterial and venous diseases, which have witnessed advancements in diagnostic and therapeutic approaches with the formulation of clinical practice guidelines (CPGs), lymphedema faces a conspicuous dearth of such comprehensive guidance. Despite the significant global prevalence of lymphedema, the lack of wellestablished guidelines has impeded …

Primary Liver Lymphoma: A Case Report with Literature Review
Abstract: Primary lymphoma of liver is an extranodal lymphoma of rare entity with poor prognosis. It constitutes about 0.01% of all non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. The etiopathogenesis of the disease is poorly understood. Due to rarity of the disease misdiagnosis and mistreatment is very frequent. The primary hepatomas, metastatic lesions are common differential diagnosis in case of primary hepatic lymphoma. The treatment and its outcome are still unclear due to its rarity. Primary …

Role of Axillary Reverse Mapping in Reducing the Risk of Lymphedema in Breast Cancer Patients: Current Perspectives
Abstract: Axillary reverse mapping is the technique of mapping and subsequently preserving the arm lymphatic drainage during axillary dissection. In 2007 Hiroo Suami described a constant sentry node draining most of the upper limb in anatomical dissection of cadavers. The presence of this node and its fairly constant location was later confirmed by many authors in clinical studies. With the use of blue dye alone, the detection rates are low than …

Percentage Changes According to Pathological Findings of Sentinel Lymph Node in Early and Early–like progressive Gastric Cancer
Abstract: Gastric cancer is considered to take the first place in incidence among visceral cancers in our country. We have studied to solve the problems to contribute gastric surgery practice, and the studying aim is to identify appearance of SLN, order of incidence and average amount. We selected 121 early and early-like progressive gastric cancer patients (Male: Female =2.7:1) who had undergone operations within last 10 years at Tumour Research Station …

Network Pharmacology and Molecular Docking Approach to Reveal the Underlying Mechanisms of Isorhamnetin in the Treatment of Lymphangitis Carcinomatosis
Abstract: Objective: Lymphangitic carcinomatosis (LC) is a tumor that spreads through lung lymphatics and is most commonly seen secondary to adenocarcinoma. In the majority of cases, LC is a result of tumor cells spreading through the lymphatic system. However, approximately 20% of LC cases can be attributed to lymphangitis caused by tumors obstructing lymphatic drainage. This blockage commonly occurs near the lung hilum, where a centrally located mass can cause inflammation …

Exploring the Dynamics of Eye Fluid: Lymphatics, Aqueous Humor, and Intraocular Pressure
Abstract: Lymphatic vessels are essential for regulating interstitial fluid balance, facilitating immune cell transport, supporting lipid absorption, and playing significant roles in tumor development and metastasis. Recent findings have expanded their recognized functions, particularly in pathological contexts. One notable discovery is the involvement of lymphatics in draining aqueous humor from the eye, a process closely linked to the regulation of intraocular pressure (IOP) and its implications for glaucoma progression. This review …

Extranodal NK/T-Cell Lymphoma; Dilemma in Diagnosis and Management: A Review of Literature
Abstract: Natural killer (NK) cell neoplasms are rare malignancies. They are classified as extranodal NK-cell lymphoma, nasal type, and aggressive NK-cell leukaemia. Clinically they can be classified as nasal type, non-nasal type, and aggressive lymphoma/leukaemia. Stage I/II Nasal NK-cell lymphoma are treated by combined chemotherapy and radiotherapy. In case of stage III/IV nasal NK-cell lymphoma, as well as non-nasal and aggressive lymphomas/leukaemias, chemotherapy is the main treatment. In selected cases, allogenic …

An Evaluative Comparison of CD123 and CD66c as Biomarkers to Detect Minimal Residual Disease in B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Abstract: Background: B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL) often shows lineage heterogeneity with lymphoid cells expressing myeloid markers. Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) refers to the small number of cancer cells that may remain in a patient's body after treatment and that are undetectable by standard diagnostic methods. In diseases like B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL), MRD is a critical prognostic indicator, as its presence can signal a higher risk of relapse. In …

Immunological Biomarkers and Epidemiological Evaluation of Lymphatic Filariasis Elimination Efforts in Osun State, Nigeria
Abstract: Lymphatic filariasis (LF) remains a neglected tropical disease affecting millions globally, despite extensive elimination efforts. While the interruption of transmission is a key goal, the long-term immunological effects on individuals with existing complications like elephantiasis remain poorly understood. This study assessed the current transmission status of LF and the haematological profiles of infected individuals across selected Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Osun State, Nigeria. A total of 7,388 individuals from …

Assessment of Micronuclei in the Cultured Peripheral Blood Lymphocytes of Human Volunteers Consuming Various Forms of Tobacco in Mizoram
Abstract: Tobacco consumption is highly prevalent in Mizoram—a northeastern state of India—and it is one of the main causes of high cancer incidence. Peripheral blood was collected from 245 volunteers within the age group of 18–67 years with their informed consent and micronuclei were prepared in cultured lymphocytes by blocking cytokinesis. Binucleated (BN) cells bearing micronuclei were scored blindly under a fluorescence microscope, where a total of 3000 BN cells were …

Abstract: Objective: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a lymphoid progenitor cell malignancy that could be treated with plant-based drugs, thus alleviating the off-target effects caused by conventional chemotherapy. Since ancient days, Allium sativum has been an integral part of traditional medicine and an excellent antimicrobial, antioxidant, and antiproliferative agent. Hence, this study aims to assess the anti-leukemic potential of A. sativum phytoconstituents as the B-cell leukemia 2 protein (Bcl-2) natural inhibitor …
