Abstract

In wireless sensor network, bandwidth and energy is the major consideration. In WSN, there are various protocols and management techniques which are involved in the bandwidth utilization and minimization of energy used in the data communication. The most common problem in WSN is of traffic congestion which results in loss of packets hence wastage of bandwidth and energy used to transfer the data is also increased. The technique discussed in this paper illustrates a novel method of management of bandwidth used in the transmission of data through discrete Fourier transform and minimization of total energy consumed in the transfer of data through efficient clustering algorithm. Keywords: Bandwidth, congestion, clustering, wireless sensor network
