Abstract

It plays a crucial role in the progression of various ailments such as gastric inflammation, atherosclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, and cancer.The lack of antibodies and transporters leads to the need to create molecules for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. Nanometer technology has become an exciting area of research over the past decade as its performance outperforms many of its products. This article discusses the green synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnoNPs) and various characterization tools to understand the physicochemical properties of nanoparticles.The anti-inflammatory activity of ZnoNPs was annotated by the activity-based method. ZnoNPs can provide stable, selective targeting as well as anti-inflammatory functions. This study demonstrates the potential of ZnoNPs as an anti-inflammatory drug or drug delivery vehicle.
