Formulation and Characterization of Bilayer Tablet of Anti-hyperlipidemic BCS Class II drug
Abstract: The main objective of work was to formulate co-loaded bilayer tablets of atorvastatin (ATV) and ezetimibe(EZM).ATV loaded in the immediate-release (IR) layer is an HMG CoA reductase inhibitor, while EZM, added in the immediate-release (IR) layer, is a lipid-lowering agent. The immediate release of BCS class II drugs atorvastatin and Ezetimibe, in a bilayer approach was achieved by wet granulation and fluid bed granulation followed by compression. The Preformulation studies …

Metallic Impurities Present in Environmental Water Samples Were Analyzed at Trace Levels Using ICP-MS-KED
Abstract: Elemental impurities in environmental water samples must be carefully monitored since they may have unintended pharmacological and toxicological consequences. For the simultaneous determination of eight metals (Cr, Ni, Cd, Pb, Hg, As, Se, and Sb) in water by ICP-MS, an accurate and sensitive approach has been devised and validated. The method's validity is confirmed through assessment of various criteria for new techniques, including linearity and range, accuracy, precision, selectivity, limit of …
