On Uniformly Most Powerful Tests for Truncated Parameters of several One-Parameter-Truncated Family of Distributions
Abstract: In this paper we have obtained Uniformly Most Powerful (UMP) Tests for testing the truncated parameters with its specific value of one-parameter-truncated family of distributions which needs the distribution of order statistics. Having derived these distributions, the UMP tests have been obtained. Further the power functions have been given for different values of the parameters. Also the results of the test and power function have been applied to some specific …

Modeling and Forecasting Rice Production in Bangladesh: An Econometric Analysis
Abstract: The aim of this research is to find time series model and to forecast the rice production of Bangladesh. That is achieved by finding the tentative Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) models that fit and forecast well for rice production in Bangladesh. There are mainly three types of rice that is cultivated in Bangladesh throughout the year as Aus, Aman and Boro. Season covering the whole country we have included …

Some Asymptotic Power Points for Testing the Parameters of Two Generalized Uniform Distributions
Abstract: In this paper, after getting the general form of the power functions for testing the one-sided and two-sided tests for generalized uniform distribution. Power points of some of the power functions of asymptotic tests are calculated and presented. The asymptotic tests for testing the parameters of generalized uniform distribution requires the conditional distribution of the complete sufficient statistic of the parameters of interest and also that of the nuisance parameter. …

The Mediation Effect of Personal Characteristics on Organisational Behaviour
Abstract: The concept of job satisfaction has been developed in many ways by many different researchers and practitioners. The Data is collected from 19 Arts and Science Colleges in Tirunelveli District. Employee Satisfaction is developed with dependence on Employee Involvement, Workplace Conflict, Working Condition. Employee retention is developed with dependence on Employee Involvement, Workplace Conflict, Working Condition. The Recursive SEM is used to test the hypothesis and solve the model using …

Robust Quadratic Discriminant Rule using Comedian
Abstract: Discriminant analysis aims to get rules that separate the groups of observations. Moreover, it can be used to classify new observations into one of the known groups. The classical discriminant techniques are based on the classical estimates of mean vector and variance covariance matrix. Unfortunately, these classical estimates are highly influenced by the extreme observations and hence any analysis based on these estimates will provide misleading results when the data …
