Mean Edge Estimation in Population of Planar Graph Using Stratified Sampling Procedure
Abstract: When stratified sampling is used then the population has the capacity to be grouped on thebasis of certain characteristics. Generally in survey sampling the respondents are individualpersons and they are physically unlinked. Consider a situation of graphical structure wherenodes and edges are the main constituents and if somebody wants to estimate the averagelength of edges between two nodes then it is a problem under usual sampling setup. Thispaper assumes the …

Statistical Modeling for Climate Matching between Some Saudi Cities and Some Cities in the United States of America
Abstract: In a research project entitled "Structural Pavement Design for Saudi Arabian Roads", the researchers aimed to suggesting a complete structural pavement design system for the highway network of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This main objective took into consideration changes of the materials along with prevailing environmental and traffic loading in various regions of KSA. The importance of this research project came from the fact that structural design techniques …

A Comparison among Twenty-Seven Normality Tests
Abstract: This paper studies and compares the power of 27 normality tests via the Monte Carlo simulation of sample data generated from symmetric three short-tailed and three long-tailed, asymmetric three short-tailed and three long-tailed distributions under different sample sizes by using R codes. Our simulation results showed that for symmetric short-tailed Uniform (0, 1), t (10) and Beta (4, 4) distributions showed that the Agostino-Pearson K2, Jarque Bera and Kurtosis tests …

Comparison of Powers for Testing Parameters of Two Negative-Exponential Distributions
Abstract: In this paper we make comparative study of testing the hypothesis of two independently distributed negative-exponential distributions after deriving the conditional distribution of complete sufficient statistic of interest, by fixing the sum of the transformed variable. We use it in testing the equality of both the parameters. Further the power function of the asymptotic test has been obtained for some points. Also the testing of equality of parameters has been …
