Formulation and Characterization of Novel Ethanolic Carrier for Improves Penetration of Serratiopeptidase
Abstract: The aim of present study was to develop ethanolic vesicles of proteolytic enzyme Serratiopeptidase (SRP) by solvent evaporation with high speed homogenization method and to evaluate the Serratiopeptidase ethosomes in treating the topical inflammation. The feasibility of SRP niosomes prepared by using lecithin and ethanol has been successfully demonstrated in this investigation. The entrapment efficiency was found to be influenced by the molar ratio of lecithin: ethanol concentration of SRP …

Preparation and Characterization of Fenofibrate Freeze-Dried Crystals
Abstract: The present research work was aimed to prepare fenofibrate freeze-dried crystals using poloxamer by freeze-drying technique. Fenofibrate crystals containing poloxamer were prepared by freeze drying using acetone and water as solvent system. The prepared formulations containing drug and poloxamer were evaluated for solubility and in-vitro dissolution. The prepared formulations were characterized by DSC, FT-IR, XRD and SEM. Dissolution profile of the prepared freeze-dried crystals was compared with its physical mixture …

Preparation and Characterization of Solid Dispersion of Tenoxicam
Abstract: The aim of the present study was to prepare solid dispersions of a poorly water-soluble drug Tenoxicam in Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), prepared by spray-drying techniques. The physicochemical properties of the solid dispersion and drug-polymer interactions were characterized by DSC, FT-IR, XRD and SEM. Tenoxicam was found amorphously dispersed in solid dispersion systems with the drug to polymer weight ratio of 1:3. Dissolution profile of the prepared solid dispersion was compared with …

Drug Product Registration and Regulatory Requirements in Australia (TGA)
Abstract: The present study aims to understand the drug product regulatory requirements and drug product registration process in Australia. Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is the regulatory authority for Australia and is responsible for regulating medicines and medical devices. However, as known, each country has its own regulatory agency to enforce the rules and regulate the guidelines to market a drug substance and drug product. To get authorization of marketing of drug …
