Comparative study of Drain current of Symmetric and Asymmetric DGMOSFET with simulation in Silvaco_TCAD Software
Abstract: For nano regime devices the double gate MOSFET is one of the most promising and attractive devices. The main idea of a Double Gate MOSFET is to control the Si channel very efficiently by choosing the Si channel width to be very small and by applying a gate contact to both sides of the channel. This concept helps to suppress short channel effects and leads to higher currents as compared …

Experimental Investigations to Improve the Electrical Characteristics of Nitride-Based Nanoelectronic High Electron Mobility Transistors
Abstract: In this work, the DC and RF performances of conventional nanoelectronic high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) are compared with those of two individually modified HEMT structures in a nano-scale regime. All simulation results are produced by the SILVACO- ATLAS physical simulator according to the performed designs of HEMT structures. In each of these HEMT structures, the formation of quantum well is demonstrated at unbiased condition. In the DC analysis of …

Microhardness of II-VI and III-V Semiconductors
Abstract: A correlation between microhardness and bond hardness of II-VI and III-V semiconductors is presented in this study. Bond hardness is calculated using valence electron number, covalent / ionic radius and co-ordination number of bonded atoms of the tetrahedral semiconductors. The covalent and ionic contributions to bond hardness are separately calculated to get resultant bond hardness. Results obtained using the correlation agrees well with the reported, experimental and theoretical values of …

A Review on Electric Spring Utilization for Smart Grid Structure in Power Generation
Abstract: The review documents contained in the literature are either completely off the non-critical load or forwarded within a convenient time frame based on the resulting satisfaction. In this study, instead of shifting critical loads to other terms, they tried to adjust the energy consumption of non-critical loads with the help of AC. A rule-based energy management algorithm is proposed, which uses electric springs to use AC microgrids.A new DC/DC converter …

Maze Solving Robot using Arduino
Abstract: Maze solving problem is a completely old problem, but still now it's far taken into consideration as an essential area of robotics. This area is based on decision making algorithms. The most important goal of this mission is to make an arduino based efficient independent maze solver robot. To implement in real time hardware development, software program development and maze creation have been done. Capability of finding the shortest direction …
