Principles of Thermodynamics in Mechanical Engineering to Discover the Spatial Limit of Our Universe as one Concept Mechanical System in Third Quantisation
Abstract: In the present research work, the basic principles of thermodynamics in mechanical engineering are briefly described. These thermodynamic principles are applied to discover the spatial limit of universe (finite or infinite) by considering the universe as one conceptmechanical-system in third quantisation. According to this research work, universe is progressing by time towards the thermodynamic-state of maximum entropy as most stablestate of universe. This most stable-state may be the final destiny …

Effects of Channel Volume and Channel Aspect Ratio on the Surface-Driven Capillary Flow of Dyed Water in Sudden Expansion Microchannels Fabricated by Polymer
Abstract: In this experimental work, total three individual sudden expansion microchannels (microfluidic devices) are fabricated by polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) using the maskless lithography, hot embossing lithography and direct bonding technique. Dyed water is prepared and used as the selected working liquid. Channel aspect ratio (channel height/channel width) is defined and used as the structural parameter in this work. Diffusion coefficient is used as the flow parameter. Effect of channel volume on the …

Cyclic Nanoindentation and Nano-scratch Behaviour of CaCO3/PMMA Nanocomposite
Abstract: The calcium carbonate surface modified with γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane was carried out to prepare poly (methyl methacrylate) based composite. The grafting of PMMA increased as the weight ratio between MMA and n-CaCO3 increased, while the grafting efficiency of PMMA decreased. Transmission electron micrograph showed that MPTMS modified n-CaCO3 covered with PMMA was formed by emulsion polymerisation. The scratch resistance of n-CaCO3/PMMA nanocomposites are highly influenced by reinforcement’s type. The effects of n-CaCO3 …

A Comparative Analysis of Characterization of Silicon Nanowire and CNT FETs
Abstract: The CMOS technology has been replaced by nano-scale semiconductor devices for future nanotechnology. These nano scale semiconductor devices have been replaced by nanowire FET and CNT FET due to their outstanding device physics. In this paper, a comparative analytical study on the basis of their operation, characteristics, structure and design has been investigated. HSPICE has been used to simulate CNT FET and comparison has been done with nanowire FET. The …

Heat Transfer Augmentation in Twisted Rectangular Channel
Abstract: The best way to profoundly and scientifically concentrate the heat exchange upgrade of nanofluids under turbulent course through Twisted Rectangular channels under consistent heat flux conditions on every one of the walls is to look at the marvel numerically. The nanofluids are fundamentally the strong nanoparticle of CuO suspended in water arranged chemically. CFD investigation is led utilizing FLUENT programming by the limited volume technique. The limit conditions connected are …
