A Novel CPW-Fed Triangular Fractal Antenna with Round Corners for UWB applications
Abstract: This paper presents a novel CPW(coplanar waveguide)-fed triangular fractal antenna with round corners for UWB(ultra wideband) applications. The overall size of the proposed antenna is 20×23×1.6 mm3. The impedance bandwidth of the antenna is effectively improved by adding fractal elements at the edges. Also, rounding corners of triangular fractal antenna leads to an improvement in impedance bandwidth. And the impedance bandwidth is enhanced by adding triangular strips on two ground …

Survey on Fractal Microstrip Antenna for Multiband 5G Application
Abstract: In the paper, a two-iteration fractal structure antenna—based on the advantages of fractal geometry and incorporating the principles of conventional microstrip antenna design and resonant coupling technique—is studied for third generation (3G), fourth generation (4G), fifth generation (5G), WLAN, and Bluetooth wireless applications. Antenna radiators were shown to have a fractal structure, much like a tree in the wild. The length of the radiator in a limited space can be …

Emissivity and Dielectric Behavior of Red Soils of Dhule District at X-band Microwave Frequencies
Abstract: Using X-band (8.2 and 10.5GHz) experimentation, the fluctuation of the dielectric constant (ε’) and dielectric loss (ε’’) of soil samples with different moisture contents has been determined. After reaching a transition point, the value of (ε') grows gradually with moisture content before increasing quickly after that. The emissivity has been estimated from experimentally determined (ε’) using emissivity model for vertical polarization. The findings indicate that as MC/dielectric constant increases, emissivity …

U-Shaped Antenna Design for 5G High Frequency Band
Abstract: Designing small antennas for 5G millimeter wave bands is an emerging research subject in the wireless communication age. This research paper describes the design, simulation, and measurement of a micro-strip patch antenna operating at high frequency, 38 GHz. The substrate material used is FR4 proxy due to its easy availability and cost with the dielectric constant 3.8 to 4.6. The analysis and simulation are done on Ansys HFSS Software. The …

Design and Implementation of UWB-MIMO Triangular Antenna with Notch Technology
Abstract: The paper proposes a quad-element UWB-MIMO triangular monopole antenna with triple notched bands and high isolation. The antenna comprises four triangular-shaped elements arranged orthogonally, printed on a low-cost FR-4 substrate with a dielectric constant of 4.4. Its dimensions are 50 × 50 × 1.6 mm³, and it operates within the frequency band of 2.97 to 11 GHz. To achieve high isolation of 22 dB between the four radiatingelements, a square …
