Design and motion control of a differential drive wheel mechanism for a departmental information robot
Abstract: This research study aims to create the Departmental Information Robot which will assist people in finding their way through the academic space. The system operates through a differential drive locomotive system which uses two motorized wheels and a third wheel that functions as a castor wheel. The robot can move in all directions because it has forward and backward movement abilities and sideways motion and 360-degree rotation capabilities. The robot's …

Real Time Ai Based Fault Detection in EV
Abstract: Electric vehicles (EVs) are rapidly increasing in usage, but motor faults can affect their performance and safety. This paper presents a real- time AI-based fault detection system using sensor data and embedded processing. The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller along with current, vibration, and temperature sensors to continuously monitor motor conditions. An intelligent algorithm analyzes real-time data to detect abnormalities such as overheating, overcurrent, and mechanical faults. When a fault …

Voice Controlled Chair
Abstract: This paper presents the design, development, and performance evaluation of a voice- controlled chair intended to assist elderly and physically challenged users. The primary objective is to enable hands-free mobility through voice commands such as forward, backward, left, right, and stop. A microcontroller-based control unit processes speech inputs and drives the chair using motor driver circuits. Experimental testing confirms accurate command recognition and smooth directional control under normal operating conditions. …
