Synthesis And Spectral Of Some Biologically Active Chromium (III) Complexes With Macrocyclic Ligands
Abstract: A large number of modern techniques have been developed for the synthesis of macrocyclic complexes. Forty chromium complexes of the type [CrX2.L1-20]X; (Where X=Cl or NO3; L=macrocyclic ligands) derived from condensation of 2,3-butanedione or 1, 2-diphenyl-ethane 1,2-dione (2mmol) with different aliphatic diamines (2mmol) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, electronic spectra, IR spectra, magnetic moment and X-ray photoelectron data (i.e. XPS data). An octahedral geometry is …

Synthesis, Crystal Growth, Structure and Characterizaton of Rubidium Mercury Thiocyanate Crystal
Abstract: Single crystals of manganesemercurythiocyanate (MMTC) and rubidium mercury thiocyanate (RMTC) were grown by slow evaporation solution growth technique. The single crystal X-ray diffraction states that the system of RMTC is monoclinic with different cell parameter values than MMTC. The grown RMTC have high NLO efficiency with green emission. The Fourier Transform Infra Red analysis says about the functional group present in the synthesized crystal. The surface morphology and presence of …

Evaluating the Influence of Catalyst and Temperature Effectiveness Factor on Reactor Performance for Direct Synthesis of Dimethyl Carbonate using Carbon Dioxide and Methanol
Abstract: In this research, the effectiveness of a packed bed reactor employing a nanorod ceria catalyst for the direct synthesis of dimethyl carbonate (DMC) from methanol and carbon dioxide (CO2) is assessed. In order to combat the growing CO2 levels, this study converted the greenhouse gas into dimethyl carbonate, a feedstock for green chemicals. In order to estimate the fractional conversion of methanol and DMC yield under different operating parameters, including …

An Overview of Blends Based on Thermoplastic Starch
Abstract: In recent years, research has concentrated on biodegradable substances to replace petroleum- based polymers for use in food packaging. Biopolymers are seen to be the most promising material for this purpose due to their biodegradable nature and long shelf life characteristics like resistance to chemical or enzymatic processes. Starch is a biopolymer that is cheap, sustainable, and eco-friendly and could be a feasible method for making biocomposites. The production and …
