Abstract

In this study, the SCAPS tool was utilized to examine the efficacy of perovskite solar cells using perovskite materials such methyl ammonium lead Iodide (MAPbX3, MA=CH3NH3, X: I). Quantitative simulation and modeling have been used to determine the electrical characteristics of the MAPbI3 material used for the active layer for a number of parameters, including fill factor (FF), short-circuit current density (Jsc), power conversion rate (PCE), and open-circuit voltage (Voc). The interface layer between the absorber layer (CH3NH3PbI3) and the electron transport layer (ETL) (TiO2), as well as the material CuSCN acting as the hole transport layer (HTL) and absorbers layer, have been considered in the construction of a perovskite solar cell. Calculations have been made for the capacitance-frequency (C-F) and capacitance-voltage (C-V) of the previously studied perovskite solar cell. The simulated findings demonstrate that the MAPbI3 has specifications for performance such as FF=89.51, PCE=33.01, Voc=1.3011, and Jsc=28.3531 mAcm-2.
