Microneedles: A Modern Breakthrough in Drug Delivery SystemsBy Ujjawal Tamboli, Pankaj Chasta, Chhaya Deval, Shivam Rongpi, Kamalesh Mistry
Abstract: Microneedles (MNs) represent a revolutionary and transformative advancement in the realm of transdermal drug delivery systems, which are designed to facilitate the administration of therapeutic agents through the skin. These exceptionally small, micron-scale needles penetrate the stratum corneum, thereby enabling the direct delivery of pharmacological agents into the underlying dermis or the upper epidermis, consequently enhancing bioavailability while simultaneously circumventing the detrimental effects of first-pass metabolism and the degradation that …

Development and Optimization of Orally Disintegrating Tablets (ODTs) Containing Standardized Curcumin Extract for Enhanced Bioavailability and Patient ComplianceBy Rupesh Kumar Pandey, Kamalesh Mistry, Dhananjay Mistry, Shivam Rongpi, Pratyush Kumar Brahma, Mitul Bhoi
Abstract: This research centers on creating and perfecting orally disintegrating tablets with standardized curcumin extract to both increase its bioavailability and promote better patient adherence. Although curcumin has numerous therapeutic applications. It remains clinically ineffective due to its poor aqueous solubility and bioavailability constraints. The development of orally disintegrating tablets involved direct compression with various levels of superdisintegrants including sodium starch glycolate and cross povidone to address existing challenges. Research teams …

RP-HPLC Analytical Method Development and Validation for Quantitative Estimation of Metoclopramide Hydrochloride in Solid Oral FormulationsBy Mayur Sudhakar Patil, Kamalesh Mistry, Dhananjay Mistry, Shivam Rongpi, Pratyush Kumar Brahma, Mitul Bhoi
Abstract: RP-HPLC technique formulated for the numerical assessment of Metoclopramide Hydrochloride in tablet formulation has been confirmed for reliability. A C18 column facilitated the chromatographic separation using a mobile phase comprising 60:40 (v/v) potassium dihydrogen phosphate buffer: meth anol mixture. Such method was used to detect, where the retained time was 6.78 minutes and Metoclo pramide Hydrochloride produced a clear peaked at 273 nm. Results were in agreement with ICH Q2 …
