  Abstract: The present work deals with pharmacological studies of formulated tablet of Bombax ceiba Linn root extract comparing with marketed one. An aphrodisiac activity by mating behavior test model was investigated. The dissolved tablet slurry (400 mg/kg body wt./day) was administered orally by gavages for 28 days.
