Generation of Sum and Difference Patterns of Linear Arrays Using Thinning
Abstract: Literatures are available on linear arrays with equal and unequal spacing. In this paper, the radiation patterns of linear arrays are numerically simulated using thinning. Thinning is a method by which the total number of active elements in a linear antenna array is reduced without causing major degradation in system performance. Design and Analysis of Multi Band Patch with Enhanced Bandwidth
Abstract: In this article, a novel lower edge defected multi-band patch with modified ground structure (or Defected Ground Structure-DGS) with enhanced bandwidth has been presented. The bandwidth can be enhanced by defecting the partial ground and by arc truncation of lower edges of the patch. The antenna was converted into multi-band by defecting the lower corners.
