Bio-Derived TPS–Lignin Hybrid Composites Reinforced with Modified Coir and Plantain Fibers for Eco-Efficient Structural Applications
Abstract: This study develops bio-derived polymer composites using a thermoplastic starch–lignin (TPS–lignin) matrix reinforced with alkali-treated coir and plantain fibers for sustainable load-bearing applications. The TPS–lignin matrix was formulated using cassava starch, glycerol, and 10 wt% lignin, while coir and plantain fibers were surface-modified using 5 wt% NaOH to enhance interfacial compatibility. Composite laminates were fabricated with varying fiber loadings (10–40 wt%) through melt-mixing and hot-press compression. Tensile, thermal, morphological, and …

Management of Green Composite for Clean and Green Energy Conversion with Thermal Analysis: Fiber Reinforcement Composites
Abstract: Using green composite materials helps people identify better, more environmentally responsible options to synthetic polymers. Depending on the state of the material and additions, green composites that are used for clean energy are lighter than ordinary metals that carry heat quickly. These methods test fiber-reinforced composites in diverse conditions using heat analysis and then do a thorough method analysis. The composites have a polymer matrix that is healthy for the …

Polymer Chemistry in Flexible Dental Assemblies: Designing a Polymer-Based Composite Arm for Bio-Fluid Extraction Tube Support
Abstract: Polymer chemistry offers innovative solutions for designing flexible, durable assemblies in medical applications. This study explores an assembly for holding a bio-fluid extraction tube, featuring a flexible arm interpreted as a polymer composite, aimed at enhancing dental procedures. The assembly comprises a gooseneck-style arm—hypothesized as a rubber or fiber-reinforced polymer—connecting a first clamp (for anchoring to an object, e.g., dental chair) and a second clamp (securing the extraction tube). The …
