  Abstract: The study aims to understand the axial compression characteristics and fracture of cylindrical Aluminum (Al), Glass/epoxy (GFRP) composite and Hybrid Al-GFRP crash-boxes. The hollow Al tubes are fabricated by rolling and bonding a thin aluminum sheet followed by rivet joints.
