Abstract: The main objective of this research work was to optimize the performance and emission of four stroke, single cylinder, indirect injection, water cooled diesel engine operating on palm oil and diesel blend. The use of vegetable oil as a fuel in diesel engine causes some problem due to their high viscosity compared with conventional diesel fuel.
