A Case Report on Management of Hand Burns in a Leprosy Patient
Abstract: Leprosy, also known as Hansen's disease, is a chronic infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium leprae. Clinical features depend on the immune status of the patient but usually involve skin and peripheral nerves. The lesions are usually anesthetic which can lead to ulceration and non healing wounds.
