Evaluating the Mechanical Attributes of Flexible Polyurethane Foam Produced at Various Pressures
Abstract: This study explores the impact of different pressures (1atm and 0.75atm) on the mechanical characteristics of flexible polyurethane foam, employing varied compositions (0 - 40ppw) of CaCO3. Foam production occurred under two distinct pressure conditions: vacuum pressure and atmospheric conditions. Mechanical properties, including durability, compression set, resilience, support factor, elongation, hysteresis loss, bounce characteristics (including number of bounces), hardness, thickness loss value, elongation percentage, and tear resistance strength, were quantified …

Design and Validation of an Artificial Intelligence-Driven Digital Twin for Real-Time Monitoring and Control in Polymer Composite Manufacturing
Abstract: Polymer Matrix Composites (PMCs) have become indispensable in high-performance sectors such as aerospace and automotive engineering, offering exceptional strength-to-weight ratios that outperform traditional metals in many demanding applications. However, the reliability of manufacturing PMCs via Vacuum-Assisted Resin Transfer Molding (VARTM) is frequently undermined by stochastic process variabilities. Unpredictable fluctuations in thermal history, preform permeability, resin rheology, and ambient conditions often lead to some defects; namely voids, dry spots, and incomplete …

Experimental Investigation and Surface Morphology Study on Areca Fiber Composite Material
Abstract: Composites manufactured from areca fibers had their characteristics assessed in recent research. Shape and size were determined by cutting the stem. It takes six months to dry the fibers once they are taken from the tree stem. Because pectin, cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin make up the bulk of it. It has great regeneration capacity and is a resource material made of wood fibers. The untreated and chemically treated fibers are …

Experimental Investigation Mechanical Behaviour of Composite Made by Carbon Fibre Mixed with Zro2 and Phenolic Resin
Abstract: Composites are one of the major research criteria in aerospace technologies to fulfil the present needs. Addition of materials to carbon fibers without increasing of weight of the parts Nano and micro fillers have its own criteria in improving mechanical properties. ZrO2 particles added to carbon fibers can improve the strength with a light add up in density. Present study focused on the mechanical behavior of zirconium oxide addition to …

Analysis of hyperloop transportation system using electromagnetism
Abstract: In this paper, we consider the feature of (Hyperloop technology) revolutionary transportation technology. The new technology of transportation, which travel in Vacuum fully.A high-speed train that promises travel at twice the speed of commercial aircraft transport. A Hyperloop transportation system would be “an elevated, reduced-pressure tube that contains pressurized capsule driven with in the tube by a number of linear electric motor’’. This system can achieve an average speed of …

Review in Friction Stud Welding Of Aluminium to Steel
Abstract: The demand for friction stud welded aluminum/steel joints has increased in many significant applications including cryogenics, structural engineering, spacecraft, rocket fuel tanks and high vacuum chambers owing to their superior properties. In automobile engineering, there is a requirement to join a mild steel earthing pin which is in the shape of a stud to an aluminum car body. Aluminum and steel was considered to join using friction stud welding. This …
