Experimental Exploration of Crack and Damage Dynamics of Hybrid FRP Nano Composites
Abstract: Fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites have become essential materials in modern engineering structures because of their excellent strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and adaptability in design. Among different fracture modes, Mode I interlaminar fracture where cracks propagate under tensile opening stresses is one of the most critical forms of damage in layered composites. Since delamination occurs within the matrix-rich regions between plies, improving the matrix properties plays a key role in enhancing …

Experimental Investigation and Surface Morphology Study on Areca Fiber Composite Material
Abstract: Composites manufactured from areca fibers had their characteristics assessed in recent research. Shape and size were determined by cutting the stem. It takes six months to dry the fibers once they are taken from the tree stem. Because pectin, cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin make up the bulk of it. It has great regeneration capacity and is a resource material made of wood fibers. The untreated and chemically treated fibers are …

Experimental Study on the Tensile Performance of Carbon Fiber Composites Reinforced with Titanium
Abstract: This research investigates the influence of titanium incorporation on the tensile and flexural behavior of carbon fiber‑reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites, with the goal of advancing their overall mechanical performance. This study investigates the effect of titanium incorporation on the tensile behavior of carbon fiber‑reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites to enhance their overall mechanical performance. The work aims to improve the structural efficiency of CFRP laminates by introducing titanium as a filler …

Effect of Carbon Fiber on Mechanical Properties and Corrosion Behavior of Aluminium-6061 for Aerospace Applications
Abstract: Composite materials have brought about a revolution in numerous industries due to their superior mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties. As a result, composites have emerged as a promising class of materials. In the present experimental study, we will compare sandwiched composite panels made from aluminum 6061 alloy and aluminum-carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) with varying load-carrying capacities in terms of their mechanical properties and corrosion behavior. These specimens are prepared using …

Hydrothermal modification of carbon fiber fabrics by ZnO nanorods for mechanical strengthening of CFRP laminates
Abstract: Hexagonal ZnO nanorods were produced on plain woven carbon fiber using a two-step seed-assisted hydrothermal procedure. By varying the process parameters such as molar concentrations, number of seeding cycles, and growth duration at a controlled growth temperature of 90 °C, it is feasible to produce ZnO nanostructures with a range of morphologies, including nanowires, hexagonal nanorods, and nanoflowers. The developed morphologies were examined using field emission scanning electron microscopy and …
