Mathematical Models of Agricultural Cycles in Tribal Astronomy
Abstract: This paper delves into the intricate connection between traditional tribal agricultural practices and astronomical observations, showcasing how indigenous communities have historically relied on celestial movements to guide essential farming activities. By observing the phases of the moon, solar cycles, and the positions of star constellations, tribes have developed precise methods for determining the optimal timing for planting, harvesting, and seasonal planning.
