Fabrication, Interfacial Characterization, and Superparamagnetic Properties of Fe₃O₄@γ-Fe₂O₃ Core/Shell Nanoparticle-Reinforced Chitosan Biopolymer Composites
Abstract: Magnetite/maghemite core/shell nanoparticles were prepared by alkaline co-precipitation of Fe(II) and Fe(III) precursors followed by controlled thermal oxidation at 350 °C and subsequently incorporated into chitosan at 1, 3, and 5 wt% loadings by solution casting. The resulting films were evaluated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM), vibrating-sample magnetometry (VSM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and tensile testing. XRD showed the characteristic cubic spinel reflections …

Synthesis and Characterization of Mg doped ZnFe2O4
Abstract: AbstractSingle-phase Mg-doped ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles with x= 0, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 have been prepared by the glycol-thermal method without any subsequent calcination. The crystallite size, microstructure and magnetic properties of the prepared nanoparticles were studied using X-ray diffraction (XRD), high resolution scanning electron microscope (TEM), Mössbauer spectroscopy and vibrating sample magnetometer at room temperature. The XRD results revealed the production of a sharp single cubic spinel structure in all the synthesized …

Size Dependence of Magnetization of Metal and Metal Oxides Nanoparticles
Abstract: Variation of magnetization of metal and metal oxides nanoparticle is a matter of great debate from last decade. Researchers are still striving for the exact theory to explain this property of materials at the Nano level. In the present work we have analyzed the magnetic properties of Fe3O4, CoFe2O4 and Ni nanoparticles and studied the variation of their magnetization with their sizes. We have also computed the variation of the …

A Comprehensive Study of ZnxFe2-xO3 Nanoparticles: Assessing Magnetic Properties for Medical Imaging (MI)
Abstract: Diluted magnetic ZnxFe2-xO3 nanoparticles are special semiconducting nanoparticles which are recognized for their magnetic properties. A theoretical examination of Zn-doped αFe2O3 nanostructures reveals a range of structural and property variations, offering insights into their potential applications and behavior at the nanoscale. In this regard, Heisenberg’s model and Weiss molecular filed theory is used to describe the magnetic properties of ZnxFe2-xO3 nanoparticles. These theorems inevitably enable to investigate the relationship between …
