Micro Crack Formation in High Frequency-Electric Resistance Welding
Abstract: The present paper discusses about the formation of micro cracks in base metal adjacent to the weld area during High Frequency-Electric Resistance Welding (HF-ERW) of 10'' outside diameter pipe. The micro crack formation has been analyzed with respect to chemical composition, microstructure, inclusion level, welding parameters and angle of weld flow lines.

Investigation into the Use of Anaerobic Co-digestion of Cow Dung for Biogas Production
Abstract: The research is targeted on investigating the use anaerobic co-digestion of cow dung for biogas production, and to influence a decrease in the concentration of sulphide using direct inclusion of facultative lagoon sediment with sodium and calcium alginate. It was noted that 1 minute concentration of calcium alginate and sodium was introduced right from the beginning of the anaerobic digestion cycle shows the tendency to increase methane concentration and reduce …

Ag₂S–Ag Nanocomposites: A Bottom-Up Approach to Enhance Thermoelectric Power Factor at Near Room Temperature
Abstract: The intrinsic ductility, low toxicity, and naturally occurring abundance of silver sulphide (Ag₂S) have made it a potential thermoelectric material in recent years. However, high electrical resistance severely limits its practical application. Here, we present a thorough analysis of how metallic Ag nanoinclusions affect the structural, electrical, and thermoelectric characteristics of Ag₂S nanocomposites made using a simple bottom-up polyol approach. (Ag₂S)₁₋ₓAgₓ nanocomposites with an Ag content ranging from 0 to …
