Feedback Based Three Finger Robotic Gripper
Abstract: This research presents the development and validation of a novel three-finger robotic gripper system enhanced with force feedback capabilities. Leveraging Force-Sensing Resistor (FSR) sensors and servo actuators, the gripper is engineered to dynamically adjust its grasp based on real-time force feedback. Through a series of iterative design iterations and experimental validation, the gripper demonstrates robustness and adaptability in various gripping scenarios. The integration of force feedback allows the gripper to …

Tactile Sensing Technologies in Robotics: A Review of Sensors, Materials, and Applications
Abstract: Tactile sensing, which closely resembles the human sense of touch, is an essential capability in modern robotics. It enables robots to detect and interpret physical interactions with objects, surfaces, and living beings, thereby allowing them to operate more intelligently and adaptively in complex environments. Unlike visual or auditory sensors, tactile sensors provide direct feedback about contact, pressure, texture, force, temperature, and even vibration. These sensory cues are vital for improving …

Pick and Place Drone using Primus X Flight Controller
Abstract: The development of an uncomplicated drone for pick-and-place tasks makes this project a superb beginner’s hands-on exercise. The drone is outfitted with an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and barometric sensors which allows for controlled, stable flight. A Primus X flight controller powers the drone due to these features. The drone is sustained by a battery which drives four geared motor propellers. The gripper is designed in SolidWorks and cut using a …
