A Review on Parasitically Coupled and a Direct Coupled Feed for a Microstrip Antenna Array
Abstract: Due to modern electronics, small size electronic systems have been increasing in integrated circuits and the physical size of systems is reduced. Hence, demand of small and low cost antennas has increased. Microstrip or patch antenna provides the lightweight, not expensive, and integration is easy. Microstrip antennas or patch antennas are one of the most attractive antennas for integrated systems and are widely used in wireless communication systems. This paper …

Calf Mortality in the Tropics: Multidimensional Challenges and Implications for Sustainable Dairy Development
Abstract: Calf mortality remains a significant challenge in tropical dairy farming, posing threats to productivity and sustainability. This review explores the multifactorial factors contributing to calf mortality in the tropics, including environmental stress, infectious diseases, nutritional deficiencies, management practices, genetic factors, and social dynamics. Tropical climates, characterized by extreme temperature variations, humidity, and poor shelter, exacerbate stress and compromise calf health. Infectious diseases, such as bacterial, viral, and parasitic infections, coupled …

Reduction of Mutual Coupling Losses for Dual-frequency Patch Antennas Using Modified Microstrip I-Section
Abstract: AbstractIn this paper, a compact design using modified “I” shaped microstrip section between dual frequency patch antenna array to reduce mutual coupling is presented. Problem of performance degradation of an antenna has to be faced because of mutual coupling. The results of simulation show that coupling reduced from –11.3 to –7.91 dB at 2.40 GHz and from –18.3 to –14.70 dB at 4.5 GHz. Description of antenna design and results …

Bandwidth Enhancement of MPA using DGS
Abstract: In this paper, the authors proposed an MPA with DGS to enhance its parameters and mainly bandwidth of the antenna. To achieve a very important bandwidth enhancement the authors proposed a rectangular shaped symmetrical DGS in the ground plane. This DGS on the ground plane increases the fringing field which reluctantly increases the parasitic capacitance. This increases the coupling between patch and ground which make the bandwidth to increase from …

Signal Integrity Analysis of Single Walled Carbon Nano Tube based Interconnects at 32 nm Technology Node
Abstract: The rising demands for ultra-high-speed processors and portable devices have made the transistor and interconnect scaling a challenging issue in present days. In this work, the impedance parameter of copper and CNT based interconnects are calculated at 32 nm technology node for different lengths. The performances of CNT based interconnects are analyzed and compared with Cu based interconnects in terms of crosstalk. The conventional copper interconnects are not able to …

Unified Mathematical Framework for Semiconductor Devices, Junction Dynamics, and Circuit Analysis
Abstract: Semiconductor devices form the fundamental building blocks of modern electronic and integrated circuit systems, where their electrical behavior is governed by coupled carrier transport, electrostatic, and circuit-level phenomena. This work presents a unified mathematical framework for modeling semiconductor devices, junction dynamics, and their interaction with electronic circuits. The formulation integrates fundamental semiconductor relations, carrier concentration, drift–diffusion transport, Poisson’s equation, continuity equations, PN-junction behavior, diode characteristics, bipolar junction transistor operation, and …
