Effect of Chemical Treatment of Coir Dust on the Dielectric Behavior of Bio-waste Reinforced Polymer Composites
Abstract: The present work is focused on analyzing the effect of the chemical treatment of coir dust fibers on the dielectric properties of epoxy polymer matrix composites. Coir dust is a spongy, peat-like residue obtained from the processing of coconut husk for coir fiber .The coir dust was washed and sun dried. The dried coir dust was treated with chemicals such as HCl, CH3COOH, KOH and NaOH. An untreated and treated …

Processing and Dielectric Properties of Bio-fiber Reinforced Polymer Composite Using Brown Grass Flower Broom
Abstract: AbstractA novel low-cost polymer composite using brown grass flower broom reinforcement is prepared. From the physico-mechanical characterization, it is found that the prepared composite is lightweight and of high strength. Investigation of dielectric behavior of this polymer composite proves its efficiency as a high-value marketable product. As the composite is made using bio-materials from local resources, its cost is less as compared to other polymer composites available today. Keywords: polymer …

Optimization of Type-4 Plastic Liner Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessel Design
Abstract: Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessels (COPVs) are prominently utilized for the storage of gases at high-pressure. Their widespread adoption is because they are significantly lighter weight compared to complete metal counterparts, but requires specialized design, and manufacturing process. This research employs finite element modelling to analyse the stress and failure assessments on a specific Type-IV COPV with plastic liner as core cylinder. This study aims to optimize COPV design by considering …

Phase Behaviour Study of a Mesogen in a Solvent Role of Molecular Rigidity and Configurational Entropy
Abstract: The phase behaviour of a nematogen 4’-n-pentyloxy-4-biphenylcarbonitrile (POBPCB) has been studied with respect to the translational and orientational motions. The charges of atoms and their dipole moments have been estimated by implementing the complete neglect differential overlap (CNDO/2) method. The long-range interactions have been analyzed using modified Rayleigh- Schrodinger Perturbation theory together with the multicentred-multipole expansion scheme. The “6- exp” potential function has been considered to study the short-range interactions. …

Scanning Electron Microscopy of Candida albicans Cell Wall on Tooth Surface after Fluconazole-Treated and Incubated with Guava (Psidium guajava L.)
Abstract: The cell wall of Candida albicans is a target of fluconazole. The content of guava (Psidium guajava L) is known to contribute factors to resistance of fluconazole. Objective: To characterize the surface alterations and the general shape changes of Candida cells after in vitro exposure to fluconazole and guava.Material and Methods: Six tooth specimen groups—Cells exposed without fungicidal doses (negative control), Positive cells exposed to maximal fungicidal doses of Fluconazole (100 …

Climate Change Including Forest Fire Prediction using Machine Learning and Deep Learning
Abstract: Climate change alludes to long haul shifts in temperatures and atmospheric conditions. These movements might be regular, for example, through varieties in the sun-oriented cycle. In any case, since the 1800s, human exercises have been the fundamental driver of climate change, basically because of consuming fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas. Many individuals think climate change mostly implies hotter temperatures. Be that as it may, the temperature climb is …
