Reliability-Aware Multimodal Sentiment Analysis Using Speech, Visual and Textual Signals: A CMU-MOSEI Benchmark Re-analysis
Abstract: Multimodal sentiment analysis integrates linguistic, acoustic, and visual cues, but reported gains often assume that every modality is present and equally reliable. This study develops a reliability-aware multimodal sentiment-analysis framework and performs a quantitative re-analysis of verified CMU- MOSEI benchmark results to determine how modality availability changes predictive performance. The conceptual architecture combines text, acoustic, and visual encoders with quality-conditioned gated fusion. For the quantitative component, complete- and missing-modality results …

Tuberculosis Epidemiology and its Diagnostic Modality
Abstract: Tuberculosis (TB) remains a global health emergency, with India being the epicenter, recording 2.23 million cases and approximately 4.53 lakhs deaths in 2021. Despite efforts by the National Tuberculosis Eradication Program (NTEP), the anticipated decrease in the incidence and prevalence of TB has not been actualized. This paper examines the persistently high rates of TB in India, identifying critical risk factors such as male gender, marital status, overcrowding, socioeconomic disadvantages, …

A study on IoT and AI for Predictive Modeling and Control of Infectious Disease Transmission
Abstract: Background: The global response to novel and recurring infectious diseases is frequently hindered by surveillance systems that are slow, siloed, and reactive. Traditional epidemiology relies on retrospective analysis of clinical reports, often missing the critical early phase of autocatalytic spread. The urgency of modern public health necessitates a shift toward real-time, predictive intelligence. Methods: This study investigates the development and deployment of a synergistic paradigm integrating the Internet of Things …

Artificial Intelligence for Tracking Cognitive Deviation in Aging Populations: A Comprehensive Review of Techniques, Challenges, and Ethical Concerns
Abstract: Population aging is accelerating worldwide, and with it the burden of cognitive health conditions such as mild cognitive impairment (MCI), Alzheimer’s disease (AD), and dementia. Detecting and monitoring cognitive change early is central to timely intervention, yet conventional diagnostic tools often miss the subtle signals that appear before overt symptoms. Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a promising complement to clinical assessment because it can work through high-dimensional data and …
