Management of Lead–Acid Battery System in Electric Vehicles
Abstract: To determine the lead-acid battery's state of charge in electric vehicles, a novel coulometric method is presented in this article. There are two major problems with the main state of charge algorithms that are currently in use: one defines the state of charge incorrectly for applications involving electric vehicles, and the other uses the accumulator's static performance sub-optimally to estimate its state under dynamic stresses. To address these two shortcomings, …

Green Wheels: Solaris Campus Cruiser in Action
Abstract: The publicly funded transportation system has become expensive due to the growing trends of industry and global economic growth, which have resulted in fluctuating gas prices and other price increases. Innovation can be used to solve any of these issues. Improving the usage of renewable energy sources, such as solar power, in place of fossil fuels is one of the most practical ways to address the problems. The aspiration of …

Understanding the Corrosion Behaviour of Graphite in Peat Environment for Environmental and Sustainability Applications
Abstract: Graphite, which is one of the most remarkable carbon materials for industrial applications, is a heat exchanger component material in the phosphoric acid industry, bipolar layer or electrode material in vanadium redox flow batteries, electrode material for advanced oxidation processes, electrode material for lead-acid batteries, electrode material in fuel cells and microbial fuel cells, and more interesting, as moderator or core material in nuclear reactors used. Corrosion, one of the …

Lightining Future With Non Degradable Waste
Abstract: This project focuses on addressing the growing problem of non-biodegradable waste, which creates major environmental and management issues. It proposes a smart system for waste segregation and energy production using the Arduino UNO R4 platform. The system classifies waste into three types dry, wet, and metal by using various sensors such as proximity, moisture, infrared, temperature, and weight sensors. After segregation, dry waste is sent to an incineration chamber where …

A Review on Mechanical Behavior of Lithium Ion Batteries for Electric Vehicles
Abstract: The current automobile industries are much dependent on conventional petroleum fuels like petrol, diesel etc. which are creating many environmental issues due to combustion reactions and generation of carbon dioxide. This continues use of conventional fuels leads to either increasing the price of it and vanishing of its resources in future. Considering this pure battery based electric vehicle or electric vehicle with hybridize combination of battery and any other energy …
